Reporting directly to the VP of Federal / Public Sector Sales, the Regional Vice President (RVP) will serve as the executive leader responsible for defining and executing the overarching macro go-to-market (GTM) strategy across all U.S. Federal Civilian agencies. In this role, you will lead an elite organization composed of first-line Sales Directors, Enterprise Account Executives, and specialized technical teams. You will own the theater’s P&amp;L, drive exponential ARR growth, and cultivate executive-level relationships with agency CISOs, CIOs, and major Federal Systems Integrators (FSIs). Your sophisticated understanding of cloud-native security transformation, combined with an elite track record of scaling federal organizations, will be the catalyst for anchoring Wiz as the cloud security standard across the Federal Civilian landscape.</p> <h3><strong>WHAT YOU'LL DO</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Scale &amp; Lead a Multilayered Organization: Direct, mentor, and scale a high-performing Federal Civilian sales theater, providing executive leadership to first-line Managers/Directors and Senior Enterprise Account Executives while fostering a culture of operational excellence, accountability, and relentless execution.</li> <li>Architect Macro GTM Strategy: Design and execute a comprehensive, long-term theater strategy that expands the Wiz footprint across the disparate Federal Civilian landscape, driving territory design, talent acquisition, and market penetration models.</li> <li>Drive Executive Agencies Relationships: Develop and anchor critical, trust-based partnerships with high-level federal leaders (CIOs, CISOs, Procurement Executives) and key influencers across civilian cabinets (e.g., DHS, HHS, DOT, DOE, Treasury).</li> <li>Orchestrate the Federal Ecosystem: Spearhead joint-GTM partnerships with major Federal Systems Integrators (FSIs), specialized cloud partners, and federal distributors to intercept multi-year, multi-million-dollar modernization programs and contract vehicles.</li> <li>Executive Deal Sponsorship: Act as the executive sponsor for high-value, highly complex transactions; step into strategic, multi-million-dollar civilian procurement cycles to help teams navigate advanced negotiations and security clearances.</li> <li>Cross-Functional Alignment &amp; Advocacy: Serve as the strategic voice of the Federal Civilian theater internally, collaborating cross-functionally with Product Management, Legal, Federal Compliance, Solutions Engineering, and Marketing to ensure product roadmaps and resources align with evolving civilian mission requirements.</li> <li>P&amp;L and Operational Command: Own the forecasting accuracy, pipeline health, and operational metrics for the entire civilian theater, utilizing data-driven insights to consistently optimize organizational performance and surpass quarterly revenue targets.</li> <li>Navigate Federal Compliance &amp; AI Directives: Maintain a commanding understanding of shifting federal security mandates (e.g., FedRAMP High, Zero Trust mandates, OMB directives, FedRAMP AI frameworks) to position Wiz as the premier compliance and infrastructure protection partner.</li> </ul> <h3><strong>WHAT YOU'LL BRING</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Elite 2nd-Line Leadership Experience: 12+ years of enterprise software sales experience within the U.S. Federal market, with at least 5+ years of second-line management experience (managing managers) leading high-growth federal teams, with a definitive emphasis on Federal Civilian agencies.</li> <li>Proven Scale Record: A verified track record of scaling a federal theater from early footprint to $50M+ ARR, consistently exceeding organizational quotas in a fast-paced, hyper-growth cloud or cybersecurity environment.</li> <li>Mastery of Federal Procurement Vehicles: In-depth, sophisticated understanding of federal acquisition regulations (FAR), civilian procurement cycles, OTA vehicles, and large-scale GWACs (e.g., NASA SEWP, GSA MAS, CIO-CS).</li> <li>Cloud &amp; Security Fluency: Deep domain expertise in cloud security (CNAPP, CSPM, Vulnerability Management) and a robust understanding of the technical architectures of AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud within federal tenant structures.</li> <li>Elite Relationship Capital: An active, highly respected executive network across Federal Civilian agency leadership and top-tier Federal Systems Integrators (FSIs).</li> <li>Strategic Vision with Execution Grit: Exceptional ability to conceptualize long-term, abstract market opportunities and translate them into actionable, metrics-driven execution plans for first-line leaders.</li> <li>Mission-Driven Communication: Superior communication and presentation skills, with a proven ability to pitch highly technical cloud-native security concepts to non-technical agency executives and boards.</li> <li>Academic: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred).
