This role is centered on IAM using Okta, while also running internal ticketing, endpoint management, and onboarding for both employees and customers. This is a hands-on operator role focused on speed, security, and scale.</p> <h3><strong>What You’ll Do</strong></h3> <p><strong>Own and operate IAM in Okta, including SSO, MFA, lifecycle management, and access policies.</strong></p> <ul> <li>Manage joiner, mover, and leaver processes end-to-end with clean, accurate access control.</li> <li>Build and support customer and partner federation using SAML, OIDC, and OAuth.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Run the internal ticketing queue in Jira with strong prioritization and fast resolution.</strong></p> <ul> <li>Continuously improve ticket workflows to reduce backlog and eliminate friction.</li> <li>Identify repeat issues and automate processes to reduce manual effort.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Manage the full endpoint lifecycle for macOS devices, including provisioning, support, and refresh.</strong><strong>Administer MDM using Kandji to enforce security and compliance.</strong></p> <ul> <li>Execute onboarding for employees and customers with Day 1 readiness across accounts, devices, and access.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Administer core SaaS platforms, including Google Workspace and Slack.</strong></p> <ul> <li>Support access, permissions, and integrations across the SaaS environment.</li> <li>Create and maintain clear processes, documentation, and runbooks.</li> <li>Drive automation using workflows, APIs, and scripting wherever possible.</li> <li>Partner with Security on access reviews, audits, and policy enforcement.</li> </ul> <h3><strong>What Good Looks Like</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Identity is clean with no orphaned or excessive access.</li> <li>Onboarding is fast, consistent, and complete on day one.</li> <li>The ticket queue is healthy, moving, and not a bottleneck.</li> <li>Devices are secure, compliant, and consistently managed.</li> <li>Customer SSO integrations work without friction.</li> <li>Processes are documented, repeatable, and scalable.</li> <li>Manual work decreases over time as automation advances.</li> </ul> <h3><strong>Experience</strong></h3> <ul> <li>You have 3–6+ years in IT, systems engineering, or help desk roles with IAM exposure.</li> <li>You have strong hands-on experience with Okta.</li> <li>You have experience managing ticket queues in Jira or similar systems.</li> <li>You have experience supporting macOS environments and MDM platforms like Kandji.</li> <li>You understand SSO protocols, including SAML, OIDC, and OAuth.</li> <li>You can troubleshoot across identity, endpoint, and SaaS layers.</li> <li>You build, improve, and automate rather than just react to tickets.</li> <li>Okta Certified Professional</li> <li>CompTIA Security+</li> <li>Okta Certified Administrator</li> <li>CompTIA Network+</li> </ul> <h3><strong>Why This Role Matters</strong></h3> <p>Identity is the control plane, and IT is the execution layer.
