We deliver results that exceed expectations and we win together!</p></div><p><b>Your Role:</b></p><p><span>As Corporate Counsel, you will serve as a trusted legal advisor, managing commercial contracts, regulatory </span><span>compliance, and corporate governance for the Asia-Pacific and Japan region. You will work closely with cross-</span><span>functional teams including Sales, Engineering, and Product to facilitate business growth while mitigating </span><span>legal risk.</span></p><ul><li><span>Location: Singapore</span></li><li><span>Experience Level: 3–5 years PQE (Post-Qualification Experience)</span></li><li><span>Languages Required: Professional fluency in English and Mandarin (written and spoken)</span></li></ul><p><b><span>Key Responsibilities:</span></b></p><p><b><span>Contract Negotiation & Management & Commercial Operations</span></b></p><ul><li><span>Negotiate a diverse range of agreements, including NDAs, software/SaaS licenses, Professional </span><span>Services SOWs, contractor, vendor and partnership contracts.</span></li><li><span>Support Go-To-Market (GTM) teams with custom pricing, enterprise licensing agreements (ELAs), and </span><span>complex deal structures.</span></li></ul><p><b><span>Pre-Contract & Bid Management</span></b></p><ul><li><span>Draft and review all supporting bid documents, including partner authorizations, technical declarations, </span><span>and country-specific certifications.</span></li><li><span>Conduct</span><span> </span><span>legal</span><span> </span><span>risk</span><span> </span><span>assessments</span><span> </span><span>for</span><span> </span><span>large</span><span> </span><span>bids</span><span> </span><span>and</span><span> </span><span>draft</span><span> </span><span>commercially</span><span> </span><span>viable</span><span> </span><span>and</span><span> </span><span>persuasive, </span><span>exceptions to standard client terms that protect the company while remaining competitive in the bidding </span><span>process.</span></li><li><span>Collaborate with Finance, Engineering, Product and Security teams to ensure that bid commitments are </span><span>operationally feasible.</span></li></ul><p><b><span>Compliance:</span><span> </span></b><span>Support the company’s compliance obligations by monitoring changes in laws and regulations </span><span>and advise internal stakeholders on necessary operational adjustments.</span><br><b><span>Strategic Advisory:</span></b><span> </span><span>Be the “in territory - first line of legal support” for AP&J, by providing practical, risk-weighted </span><span>legal advice to functional departments including Sales, Marketing, Channel, Technical Support, Engineering and </span><span>Product Development.</span><br><b><span>Entity Management & Co-Sec:</span><span> </span></b><span>Support the management of corporate compliance and board secretarial duties </span><span>for AP&J entities to ensure they meet all regulatory and governance requirements.</span></p><p><b><span>Job Requirements:</span></b></p><ul><li><b><span>Qualifications:</span><span> </span></b><span>Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) or Juris Doctor (J.D.) from a reputable university. Admitted to </span><span>the bar in Singapore or another common law jurisdiction.</span></li><li><b><span>Experience:</span></b><span> </span><span>3–5 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) at a reputable law firm or in-house legal </span><span>department.</span></li><li><b><span>Industry Knowledge:</span></b><span> </span><span>Previous experience in a similar role within a technology, SaaS, or cybersecurity </span><span>company is</span><span> </span><span>highly advantageous</span><span>.</span></li><li><b><span>Language Skills:</span><span> </span></b><span>Professional fluency in</span><span> </span><b><span>English and Mandarin</span></b><span> </span><span>is mandatory.
