While supporting employees remains an important part of the role, we're looking for someone who enjoys building, automating, and improving IT systems and processes at scale. The role is part of the CTO Office and works closely with employees and stakeholders across the entire company.</p>
<h2><strong>Responsibilities</strong></h2>
<ul>
<li>Own the design, deployment, configuration, and maintenance of Torq’s global IT infrastructure, core SaaS stack (Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, Okta, Iru, Terraform), and identity systems.</li>
<li>Architect, implement, and maintain MacOS and Windows MDM systems (Jumpcloud / Jamf / Kandji) to enforce strict baseline configurations, automated patching, zero-day mitigation.</li>
<li>Proactively identify manual IT processes (such as employee onboarding/offboarding or access management) and hyperautomate them utilizing scripting and API-based integrations.<br>Partner closely with the Security team to implement and monitor strict corporate security compliance requirements, endpoint security baselines, updates, upgrades, and licensing.</li>
<li>Act as the senior tier for complex hardware, software, and network troubleshooting, while continuously evaluating and refining IT infrastructure performance.</li>
<li>Maintain highly accurate asset inventory, software lifecycle management, and clear technical documentation for all IT architecture and engineering procedures.</li>
<li>Provide technical support and enablement for employees across the company</li>

<h2><strong>Requirements</strong></h2>
<ul>
<li>Minimum 2-3 years of experience in an IT Engineering, System Administration, or advanced IT Engineer role, preferably within a high-growth tech startup or enterprise cloud environment.</li>
<li>Deep hands-on experience designing and managing MacOS/Windows MDM platforms (Jumpcloud / Jamf / Kandji) - <strong>Must!</strong></li>
<li>Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell) and working with REST APIs to automate workflows and system tasks.</li>
<li>Deep technical expertise in troubleshooting, hardening, and supporting MacOS and Windows environments.</li>
<li>Proficiency in English, both verbal and written, at an executive/high technical level.</li>
<li>An engineering-first approach to problem-solving, self-driven learning capabilities for new technologies, and close attention to infrastructure security and detail.</li>
</ul>
<h2><strong>Advantages</strong></h2>
