Title: SVP of Corporate Affairs

Department: Marketing

Reports To: Chief Marketing Officer

Location: New York, NY office

Job Summary:
The SVP of Corporate Affairs serves as the bi-directional link between Prove and the market - calibrating
strategic positioning, brand presence, and platform capabilities against the dynamics of client demand,
investors, regulators, and public policy.
Rather than encroaching on Sales, Marketing, Product, or Finance, this role is designed to augment those
functions. It aligns external partnerships, startup engagement, market positioning, and strategic initiatives in a
way that reinforces Prove's overall growth strategy. The title reflects a focus on enabling and accelerating the
efforts of the broader leadership team - not on owning functions that already have strong leaders.
Ultimately, this is a force multiplier role - bringing together ecosystem strategy, market development,
strategic communications, and policy engagement to solidify Prove's long-term growth and proactively
influence industry direction.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Investor Narrative & Strategic Positioning
    • Continuously validate, optimize, and publicize Prove's investor narrative to expand its sphere of influence beyond historically limited scope (e.g., KYC and point-solutions) toward broader domain leadership as future trust infrastructure.
    • Work cross-functionally to ensure internal strategy and external messaging are aligned and mutually reinforcing.
  2. Thought Leadership & External Evangelism
    • Serve as a visible external evangelist, helping to amplify and unify Prove's messaging in the market.
    • Achieve placement on key industry lists and widely-recognized platforms, including conferences, speaking engagements, consortiums, and industry groups.
    • Help shape market perception and accelerate adoption through strategic thought leadership and sustained external engagement.
  3. Policy, Regulatory & Industry Standards Engagement
    • Engage with elected officials, regulators, and relevant government agencies to establish Prove's leadership in the formation of policy, regulatory, and industry standards.
    • Help shape the broader conversation around digital identity, fraud prevention, privacy, and trust— ensuring Prove has a voice in how the market evolves.
  4. Ecosystem Development & Partnerships
    • Develop and execute Prove's ecosystem strategy by building relationships across startups, investors, and industry influencers.
    • Drive cross-functional strategic initiatives and collaboration with business unit leaders across the organization.
  5. Market Evolution & Platform Strategy
    • Map market evolution from both functionality and regulatory perspectives, identifying platform capability gaps and requirements.
    • Identify relevant additions to the strategic capability acquisition pipeline.
    • Augment Business Development focus areas to establish an actionable path—consistent with Prove's investor narrative—to bridge current-state capabilities to future-state vision.

It should be assumed that we would, to some extent, structure responsibilities in accordance with the successful candidate’s capabilities and changing business conditions. The anticipated salary range for this role is $275,000 - $300,000 plus company bonus. Offered salary will be determined by the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, geo-location and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
