Master Data Steward

The Master Data - Steward role at GuidePoint Security LLC (‘GuidePoint’) will support the Master Data Team to build a knowledge base of technical attributes for large volumes of items, vendors and customers. This position will report to and support the Master Data - Manager to ensure accurate data standards and guidelines for financial reporting that are used to make informed business decisions. *Please note - we are looking for someone to support the core business hours of 10 / 10:30 AM - 7 PM EST.

Roles and Responsibilities: 

• Create, modify, and inactivate products, vendors and customers in NetSuite and Salesforce
• Analyze existing data for quality and consistency across all systems
• Collaborate with internal teams for data collection and verification
• Processing ticket requests and user issues promptly and professionally
• Work with cross-functional teams to resolve data issues and ensure data supports business needs
• Assist with analyzing to best meet internal and customer requirements while adhering to defined data standards
• Continuously learn to maintain strong knowledge of technology
• Suggest and help implement process improvements and efficiencies
• Other duties as assigned

Required Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in related technical or business concentration required or equivalent in work experience
• Attention to detail is a must
• Understanding and/or willingness to learn IT technical language
• Demonstrates a willingness to learn and use AI-enabled tools
• Strong organizational skills with an ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Ability to work on a team in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Possesses the ability to self-manage and adapt to changes, delays, or unexpected shifts in priorities while maintaining focus and productivity
• Ability to work a flexible work schedule as required
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Travel Requirements:

Any travel/on-site requirements as needed - up to 10%

Physical Requirements:

• Sedentary work
• Substantial movement of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers for a minimum of 8 hours a day
• Required to have close visual acuity to view computer terminal and/or extensive reading for a minimum of 8 hours a day
