The ideal candidate possesses a thorough understanding of the security product landscape and has the ability to build and manage security products.&nbsp; This is a critical role within the business that will be responsible for shaping and executing the product vision to ensure we meet the dynamic needs of our customers, delivering innovative and market-leading solutions. You will be a strategic leader, partnering closely with engineering, sales, marketing, and customer success teams to drive product growth and customer success.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>What You'll Do:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Product Strategy and Vision:</li> <ul> <li>Develop and communicate a clear product strategy and vision that aligns with the company's long-term goals.</li> <li>Identify market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to inform product direction.</li> </ul> <li>Team Leadership:</li> <ul> <li>Lead, mentor, and manage a team of product managers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.</li> <li>Set clear goals and performance expectations for the product management team.</li> </ul> <li>Product Roadmap:</li> <ul> <li>Create and maintain a comprehensive product roadmap that prioritizes initiatives based on business value and customer impact.</li> <li>Ensure that product development aligns with the roadmap and timelines.</li> </ul> <li>Cross-Functional Collaboration:</li> <ul> <li>Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and sales, to ensure successful product launches.</li> <li>Act as a liaison between different departments, fostering effective communication and alignment.</li> </ul> <li>Market Research and Analysis:</li> <ul> <li>Conduct market research to identify opportunities and threats, and make data-driven decisions.</li> <li>Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to stay ahead of the curve.</li> </ul> <li>Product Development and Execution:</li> <ul> <li>Work closely with engineering teams to define product requirements, prioritize features, and ensure timely delivery.</li> <li>Monitor product development progress, resolve issues, and mitigate risks.</li> </ul> <li>Product Performance and Metrics:</li> <ul> <li>Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess product success and make data-driven adjustments.</li> <li>Implement strategies to optimize product performance and user satisfaction.</li> </ul> <li>Customer Focus:</li> <ul> <li>Maintain a deep understanding of customer needs and gather feedback through surveys, interviews, and user testing.</li> <li>Use customer insights to guide product improvements and enhancements.</li> </ul> <li>Budget Management:</li> <ul> <li>Manage the product management budget, allocating resources effectively and efficiently.</li> </ul> <li>Stakeholder Communication:</li> <ul> <li>Communicate product updates and progress to internal and external stakeholders, including executives and customers.</li> </ul> </ul> <p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Proven experience in product management, or a related role, in the cybersecurity industry.</li> <li>Fast learner and Strategic thinker who can balance big picture strategy with detailed, flawless execution</li> <li>Strong customer centric mindset and proactive sense of urgency&nbsp;</li> <li>Experience demonstrating strong leadership, self-motivation and accountability</li> <li>Project management skills with a focus on meeting deadlines and achieving objectives.</li> <li>Strong technical background and understanding of APIs and integration technologies.</li> <li>Bachelor’s degree in Math, Science, Engineering, or Business, or equivalent</li> <li>Critical thinker that is comfortable supporting collaborative problem solving in a team environment</li> <li>Highly self-directed, empathetic, curious, and flexible</li> <li>Be self-motivated and be able to switch contexts as business needs change</li> <li>5+ years experience as in relationship management, product management or program management within the security product industry.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Nice to Have</strong></p> <ul> <li>Familiarity with Data Science and Artificial Intelligence.</li> <li>Familiarity with threat intelligence platforms, machine learning applications in cybersecurity, and integrations with SOAR, SIEM, and EDR tools.</li> <li>Experience in Agile and Lean product development methodologies.</li> <li>Experience with product lifecycle management in SaaS environments.</li> <li>CISM, PMP, CISSP</li> </ul> <p><strong>Base Salary Range:</strong> $183,000 – $275,000</p> <p>The salary range reflects the expected base compensation for a fully qualified candidate at this level based on experience, qualifications, and market data at the time of posting.</p> <div id="fortidlp-input-element-parent"></div><div class="content-conclusion"><p><strong>U.S.-Based Benefits + Perks (for Full Time Employees):</strong></p> <p>At SpyCloud, we are committed to working alongside individuals who are equally passionate about preventing cybercrime, regardless of their department or role.
