Senior UX Designer, Design System

<p><strong>The Basics</strong></p> <p>As a Senior UX Designer on the Design System team, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing the foundational styles, patterns, and UI elements for Tanium solutions across our entire platform. The projects you’ll be working on will require new ways of engaging with our solutions, to continue bringing AI strategies to Tanium product solutions. You will be charged with working with cross-functional teams to create intuitive, visually appealing, and highly functional interfaces that meet the needs of our customers.</p> <p>Tanium delivers comprehensive, autonomous management of endpoints, including security, incident response, patching, change management, and performance monitoring capabilities.<span class="Apple-converted-space">&nbsp;</span></p> <p><strong>What you’ll do </strong></p> <ul> <li>Design System Design: Design repeatable, scalable patterns and componentry to be leveraged by both design and engineering.</li> <li>&nbsp;User Interface Design: Design and prototype user interfaces for enterprise software applications, ensuring seamless navigation, usability, and accessibility.</li> <li>User Experience Enhancement: Conduct user research, analyze feedback, and iterate on designs to optimize user experience and satisfaction.</li> <li>&nbsp;Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, software engineers, and UX/UI designers to understand requirements, refine features, and deliver high-quality solutions.</li> <li>Prototyping and Testing: Develop interactive prototypes to validate design concepts and usability and conduct usability testing to gather actionable insights for improvement.</li> <li>Documentation: Document design decisions and best practices to facilitate collaboration and knowledge sharing within the team.&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p><strong>We’re looking for someone with<span class="Apple-converted-space">&nbsp;</span></strong></p> <ul> <li>Education <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, computer science, or a related field or equivalent work experience.&nbsp;</li> </ul> </li> <li>Experience <ul> <li>Proven experience (5+ years) in UI/UX design, specifically in a Design System capacity.</li> <li>Understanding of systems design, tokens, and atomic design principles</li> <li>Experience designing in technical, B2B solutions</li> <li>Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices.</li> <li>Strong UI skills and understanding of design systems in Figma</li> <li>Experience with user research methods, prototyping tools, and usability testing.</li> <li>Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.</li> <li>Experience with data visualization and/or dashboard design.</li> <li>Experience designing for AI and Agentic AI technologies.&nbsp;</li> </ul> </li> </ul> <p><strong>About Tanium&nbsp;</strong></p> <div>Tanium is the Autonomous IT company. This range is an estimate for what Tanium will pay a new hire.
