As a Mid-Market Account Executive covering the Carolinas, you will drive new customer acquisition by owning the full-cycle closing process for small to mid-sized accounts in your territory.</p> <p><strong data-path-to-node="4" data-index-in-node="314">Because this role requires deep local market engagement, candidates must reside within the Carolinas territory (North Carolina or South Carolina).</strong> <span class="citation-3492 citation-3493 citation-3494 citation-3495 citation-3496 citation-3497 citation-3498 citation-3499 citation-3500 citation-3501 citation-3502 citation-3503 citation-3504 citation-end-3504">We are seeking relentless, high-energy self-starters who will collaborate with sales engineers and channel partners to exceed quotas by discovering new opportunities, building pipeline, and executing modern account strategies. Rubrik’s Mid-</span><span class="citation-3492 citation-3493 citation-3494 citation-3495 citation-3496 citation-3497 citation-3498 citation-3499 citation-3500 citation-3501 citation-3502 citation-3503 citation-end-3503">Market Sales Organization is dedicated to developing All-Star talent, providing the continuous coaching and strategy needed to elevate<sup class="superscript embedded" data-turn-source-index="13"></sup></span><span class="citation-3492 citation-3493 citation-3494 citation-3495 citation-3496 citation-3497 citation-3498 citation-3499 citation-3500 citation-3501 citation-3502 citation-end-3502"> you into a field Account Executive role.</span></p> <p>What you’ll do:</p> <ul data-path-to-node="7"> <li><strong data-path-to-node="7,0,0" data-index-in-node="0">Own the Carolinas Territory:</strong> Define and execute dynamic sales plans to meet and exceed quota through modern prospecting, qualifying, and closing opportunities across North and South Carolina.</li> <li><strong data-path-to-node="7,1,0" data-index-in-node="0">Drive the Full Cycle:</strong> Develop and manage a high-volume sales pipeline, managing transactions smoothly from initial touchpoint to closed-won.</li> <li><strong data-path-to-node="7,2,0" data-index-in-node="0">Expand Our Footprint:</strong> Identify and close new growth opportunities working directly with mid-enterprise accounts.</li> <li><strong data-path-to-node="7,3,0" data-index-in-node="0">Leverage the Ecosystem:</strong> Co-sell and strategize with channel and alliance partners to create scale and sales velocity in the Mid-Market.</li> <li><strong data-path-to-node="7,4,0" data-index-in-node="0">Pitch with Impact:</strong> Present Rubrik’s cutting-edge value proposition to security and IT leaders in partnership with our sales engineering team.</li> <li><strong data-path-to-node="7,5,0" data-index-in-node="0">Be a Market Expert:</strong> Provide leadership with real-time feedback on local Carolina market trends, new business opportunities, and strategic channel partnerships.</li> <li><strong data-path-to-node="7,6,0" data-index-in-node="0">Fuel the Funnel:</strong> Execute targeted outbound prospecting activities to engage midsize target accounts.</li> <li><strong data-path-to-node="7,7,0" data-index-in-node="0">Maximize Inbound:</strong> Run with and develop inbound marketing leads to quickly convert them into active pipeline.</li> </ul> <p>Experience you’ll need:</p> <ul data-path-to-node="9"> <li><strong data-path-to-node="9,0,0" data-index-in-node="0">2+ years of closing experience</strong> in technology sales, with a proven ability to manage full-cycle deals.</li> <li><strong data-path-to-node="9,1,0" data-index-in-node="0">A strong track record of landing "new logos"</strong> and driving net-new business.</li> <li><strong data-path-to-node="9,2,0" data-index-in-node="0">Proven success selling to small-to-midsize customers</strong>, ideally with familiarity or networks within the Carolinas region.</li> <li><strong data-path-to-node="9,3,0" data-index-in-node="0">A history of overachieving quotas</strong> and a drive to constantly level up.</li> <li><strong data-path-to-node="9,4,0" data-index-in-node="0">Curiosity, grit, a goal-oriented mindset,</strong> and a passion for continuous professional growth.</li> <li><strong data-path-to-node="9,5,0" data-index-in-node="0">Sharp organization and time management skills</strong> to effectively prioritize your days and weeks.</li> <li><strong data-path-to-node="9,6,0" data-index-in-node="0">Active listening and adaptability</strong>—the ability to pivot conversations smoothly and deliver immediate value.</li> <li><strong data-path-to-node="9,7,0" data-index-in-node="0">Strong objection handling</strong> to deeply understand customer pushback and confidently navigate past it.</li> <li><strong data-path-to-node="9,8,0" data-index-in-node="0">Compelling storytelling abilities</strong> to paint a vivid picture of business pain and the value of our solutions.</li> </ul> <p>Preferred qualifications:</p> <ul data-path-to-node="11"> <li>Experience closing complex SaaS or cybersecurity solutions.</li> <li>A strong understanding of, and experience working alongside, channel partners.</li> <li>Sharp research skills and business intuition to interpret data and personalize your prospecting approach.</li> <li>Proficiency with modern sales tech stacks (e.g., Salesloft, Clari, Salesforce).</li> </ul><div class="content-conclusion"><h2>Join Us in Securing and Accelerating the World's AI Transformation</h2> <p>Rubrik (RBRK), the Security and AI Operations Company, leads at the intersection of data protection, cyber resilience, and enterprise AI acceleration.
