Human Resources Business Partner, Office Operations & Administration

Position Summary

The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) serves as a strategic advisor to business leaders while overseeing day-to-day office operations and administrative functions. This role partners with managers and employees to drive talent initiatives, employee engagement, workforce planning, performance management, and organizational effectiveness. Additionally, the HRBP ensures efficient office operations, administrative support, workplace experience, and coordination of business processes that enable a productive and positive work environment.

The ideal candidate possesses approximately six years of progressive HR experience, strong business acumen, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to balance strategic HR initiatives with operational execution.

 

Key Responsibilities

Human Resources Business Partnership

  • Support the execution of HR programs, policies, and initiatives aligned with business objectives.
  • Manage employee relations matters, conduct investigations, and recommend appropriate resolutions.
  • Support annual talent processes, including performance reviews, succession planning, compensation planning, and goal setting.
  • Drive employee engagement initiatives and promote an inclusive, positive workplace culture.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition to support hiring, onboarding, and workforce planning efforts.
  • Partner with Learning & Development to support continual education initiatives

Office Operations Management

  • Oversee daily office operations to ensure an efficient, safe, and professional work environment.
  • Manage relationships with office vendors, service providers, property management, and facilities partners.
  • Coordinate office maintenance, workspace planning, supplies, equipment, meals, and facility needs.
  • Support workplace safety initiatives and compliance requirements.
  • Develop and maintain office policies, procedures, and operational guidelines.
  • Coordinate office events, team-building activities, employee recognition programs, and company meetings.

Administrative Operations

  • Coordinate scheduling, meeting logistics, travel arrangements, and event planning.
  • Maintain accurate employee records, HR documentation, and operational files.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, communications, and business correspondence.
  • Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries regarding workplace services, policies, and office resources.

 

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 6 years of progressive Human Resources experience.
  • Strong knowledge of employee relations, performance management, employment law, and HR best practices.
  • Excellent organizational, project management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with a high degree of professionalism and confidentiality.
