You'll help shape how we invest, scale, and operate while partnering directly with leaders responsible for building and supporting the products our customers rely on every day.</p> <p data-start="1594" data-end="1625">We look forward to meeting you.</p> <hr> <h2><strong>What Expel Can Do For You</strong></h2> <ul> <li data-section-id="dnuv09" data-start="1662" data-end="1755">Give you direct influence over some of the company's largest and most strategic investments</li> <li data-section-id="zwf229" data-start="1756" data-end="1879">Partner you with Engineering, Product, Security Operations, and executive leaders who rely on data-driven decision making</li> <li data-section-id="n93nr5" data-start="1880" data-end="2010">Allow you to shape how we think about infrastructure spend, engineering capacity, vendor investments, and operational efficiency</li> <li data-section-id="1wt2rzc" data-start="2011" data-end="2085">Give you the freedom to challenge assumptions and improve how we operate</li> <li data-section-id="6btlk9" data-start="2086" data-end="2185">Support an AI-augmented workflow where modern tools help increase leverage and reduce manual work</li> <li data-section-id="xlbr1j" data-start="2186" data-end="2293">Deepen your understanding of SaaS economics, cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity, and product development</li> </ul> <hr> <h2><strong>What You Can Do For Expel</strong></h2> <ul> <li data-section-id="190xup5" data-start="2330" data-end="2450">Own budgeting, forecasting, and annual planning for Engineering, Product, Detection &amp; Response, SOC, and G&amp;A functions</li> <li data-section-id="wlpekr" data-start="2451" data-end="2589">Develop and maintain cost models that connect infrastructure investments, cloud consumption, and operating expenses to business outcomes</li> <li data-section-id="14l5t2l" data-start="2590" data-end="2725">Partner with Engineering and Product leaders on hiring plans, capacity modeling, contractor strategies, and investment prioritization</li> <li data-section-id="14qejej" data-start="2726" data-end="2851">Lead vendor and SaaS spend reviews, identifying opportunities to optimize costs while maintaining operational effectiveness</li> <li data-section-id="1crom1m" data-start="2852" data-end="2978">Deliver variance analysis and forward-looking insights that help leaders understand both performance and future implications</li> <li data-section-id="976z0g" data-start="2979" data-end="3092">Build analytical frameworks that support strategic decisions around growth, efficiency, and resource allocation</li> <li data-section-id="1eqhf32" data-start="3093" data-end="3218">Partner closely with Accounting, Procurement, and business leaders to improve forecasting accuracy and financial visibility</li> <li data-section-id="a5d3n3" data-start="3219" data-end="3322">Leverage AI tools and automation to improve analytical throughput and eliminate low-value manual work</li> </ul> <hr> <h2><strong>What You Should Bring With You</strong></h2> <ul> <li data-section-id="1gm0u69" data-start="2637" data-end="2736">5+ years of progressive FP&amp;A experience, including at least 2 years supporting a GTM organization</li> <li data-section-id="170ns53" data-start="2737" data-end="2872">Strong understanding of SaaS metrics including ARR, LTV/CAC, retention, sales productivity, pipeline conversion, and sales efficiency</li> <li data-section-id="14u2fvb" data-start="2873" data-end="2946">Experience partnering directly with VP and executive-level stakeholders</li> <li data-section-id="1tjvq09" data-start="2947" data-end="3008">Exceptional financial modeling and business analysis skills</li> <li data-section-id="1u6xurr" data-start="3009" data-end="3140">Proficiency with Adaptive Insights (or similar), Excel/Google Sheets, Salesforce, and BI platforms such as Domo, Tableau, or Qlik</li> <li data-section-id="1inneko" data-start="3141" data-end="3203">Experience working with SQL or customer-level data is a plus</li> <li data-section-id="1dpmxbj" data-start="3204" data-end="3305">Comfort operating in fast-moving environments where ambiguity is common and business impact matters</li> <li data-section-id="yrgm6" data-start="3306" data-end="3349">A Bachelor's degree or a compelling story</li> </ul> <hr> <h2><strong>Additional Notes</strong></h2> <p>The base salary range for this role is between $114,300 USD and $165,700 USD + bonus eligibility and equity.&nbsp;<br><br>We believe in paying transparently and equitably. While compensation is based on experience, skills, market data, and internal equity considerations, we're generally targeting candidates around the <strong>$140,000 - $145,000 base salary</strong> range for this role.
