Senior Field and Event Manager

About your role

Enterprises are evaluating platforms that run containers and virtual machines together. As they consider VM workloads on Kubernetes, networking and security are critical to the design and operation of those platforms. At the same time, organizations are taking AI applications and agents into production and need infrastructure that can operate reliably across data centers, clouds, and regions. Tigera’s portfolio spans Calico networking and security, converged networking for VM workloads in Kubernetes, Lynx, and emerging AI-focused initiatives.

We are hiring a Field and Event Marketing Manager to build programs that put Tigera in the right conversations with the right buyers. You will decide where we show up, create reasons for prospects and partners to engage with us, and turn event interactions into qualified meetings and pipeline. You will work closely with Growth Marketing, Sales, Product Marketing, technical teams, partners, and executives. This is a hands-on role with ownership from strategy through execution and measurement.

This is a hybrid role based on Vancouver

Salary range: CAD $85,000 - 95,000 + 10% bonus on meeting targets

You Will

Set the field and event strategy

• Build a focused calendar of cloud, Kubernetes, infrastructure, and security events, including partner and regional programs.
• Choose where Tigera should sponsor, speak, attend, or host based on buyer fit, target accounts, and meeting potential.
• Test new communities and formats, then invest in what works.

Run high-impact programs

• Own event budgets, vendors, logistics, speakers, and on-site execution.
• Partner with Sales on target accounts, meeting plans, and executive preparation.
• Create relevant experiences, from conferences and partner events to dinners, roundtables, and technical meetups.

Generate demand and pipeline

• Build campaigns and outreach with Sales, Product Marketing, Content, and partners before and after key events.
• Ensure every event has clear goals, lead capture, and follow-up owners; coordinate workflows with Sales and Marketing Operations.
• Measure qualified meetings, account engagement, opportunities, and pipeline, and use results to improve the program.

You have

• 2+ years of experience in B2B field marketing, events, demand generation, or a related role, with hands-on ownership of programs, and booth and collateral messaging.
• Experience marketing technical products to enterprise buyers; cybersecurity, cloud, Kubernetes, or infrastructure experience is a plus.
• A track record of turning events into qualified conversations, not just attendance.
• Strong project management, communication, budgeting, and cross-functional skills.
• A proactive approach, comfort working with executives and technical teams, and willingness to travel from Vancouver for priority events.
