Job Description

Cato Networks is the converged network and security cloud for the AI era.

As AI reshapes cybersecurity, enterprises face a dual challenge: unlocking AI’s potential while defending against AI-driven attacks. Cato addresses both through a unified, cloud-native platform, providing the visibility and context to prioritize risks and stop threats in real time across users, applications, data, and AI agents.

Join us as we scale: take on ambitious technological challenges and shape the next generation of enterprise security at a company trusted by thousands of organizations worldwide.

We’re looking for a visionary DevOps to join the R&D team. In this critical role, you will support the entire R&D operation, by providing automated tools and CI/CD processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Be the owner of continuous delivery and deployment processes of all of Cato's software projects, build them from the bottom up, and keep extending them.
  •  Collaborate with R&D and other departments to provide and improve self-service tools and automate whatever can be automated.
  • Help different departments be more productive in their day-to-day and improve overall developer experience.
  • Lead technical projects from discovery and design through implementation and rollout.
  • Partner with engineering teams to understand pain points, gather requirements, and improve developer workflows.
  • Define roadmaps and break down large initiatives into actionable plans and deliverables.
  • Contribute to our internal engineering portal and other developer-facing platforms.

Requirements:

  •  At least 5 years of experience with CI/CD pipelines and build tools (e.g. Git, Jenkins, Docker, Artifactory).
  • Experience in Docker & container technology. Bonus - Experience building and operating production systems on Kubernetes.
  • Proven programming and scripting experience - e.g. Go, Groovy, Python, Bash.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic multi-task environment with context switches.
  • Strong problem-solving and systems-thinking skills.
  • Ability to independently identify gaps, propose solutions, and drive execution.
  • Comfortable working directly with engineers, technical leads, and engineering managers.
  • Strong sense of ownership and accountability.

Preferred:

  • Knowledge of and a passion for configuration management tools such as Ansible, Chef, and Puppet.
  • Experience with cloud IaaS such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud and SaaS platforms in general.
  • Experience with GitOps workflows and tools such as ArgoCD.
  • Software development experience in a backend language (Go is a strong advantage).
  • Experience designing developer self-service workflows.
  • Experience with Developer Experience (DevEx) initiatives.
  • Experience leading projects or owning significant technical initiatives end-to-end.

*We operate in a hybrid model, requiring three days in the office.
*Location: NR7, Náměstí republiky, Prague, Czech Republic.
