<p data-renderer-start-pos="156">We’re looking for a Principal Software Engineer with a passion for solving problems to join our agile Product Engineering team at OneTrust. Principal Software Engineers are responsible for developing, contributing to decisions related to design and architecture of new frontend features while supporting existing development efforts for our industry-leading platform. </p>

<p data-renderer-start-pos="544">As a Platform Frontend Engineer, you will operate with a <strong data-renderer-mark="true">platform-first mindset</strong>, building and evolving UI capabilities that scale consistently across the entire product ecosystem. You will partner closely with UX, Product, and UI Architecture teams to design and deliver <strong data-renderer-mark="true">standardized, reusable UI building blocks (organisms/patterns) </strong>that enable multiple product teams to build consistent, high-quality experiences efficiently.</p>
<p data-renderer-start-pos="973">You will focus on creating <strong data-renderer-mark="true">framework-level solutions rather than feature-level implementations,</strong> ensuring that all UI components are <strong data-renderer-mark="true">extensible, composable, and aligned with platform standards. </strong>Your work will directly influence how frontend solutions are built across teams by driving <strong data-renderer-mark="true">consistency, reusability, and long-term scalability</strong>.</p>
<p data-renderer-start-pos="1311">The ideal candidate brings strong expertise in <strong data-renderer-mark="true">JavaScript and Angular</strong>, along with deep experience in building <strong data-renderer-mark="true">platform-grade UI systems</strong>, including design systems, component libraries, and shared frameworks. You should have a strong understanding of how to abstract common patterns and deliver <strong data-renderer-mark="true">robust, reusable, and performance-optimized components </strong>that seamlessly integrate across diverse applications.</p>

<p data-renderer-start-pos="2821">· Support development of web and mobile interfaces for product module or new prototypes using HTML, CSS, JavaScript/Typescript and/or the designing, development, and unit testing of applications deployed to MS Azure while assisting with cloud application architecture using Drupal, Python, Core Java, REST, and the Spring ecosystem </p>
<p data-renderer-start-pos="3161">· Achieve at least 80+% code coverage or per the revised standards set by the team </p>
<p data-renderer-start-pos="3253"><strong data-renderer-mark="true">Collaboration</strong> </p>
<p data-renderer-start-pos="3270">· Work closely with UX, Product Managers and/or Product Owners, as well as other developers to contribute to planning and grooming sessions and drive team’s discussions on system architecture and component design </p>
<p data-renderer-start-pos="3492">· Support the team to ensure all committed stories for the sprint are completed per the sprint goal </p>
<p data-renderer-start-pos="3601"><strong data-renderer-mark="true">Support</strong> </p>
<p data-renderer-start-pos="3612">· Work toward reducing total number of defects in the module/product to industry standards by catching and fixing issues early in development </p>
<p data-renderer-start-pos="3763">· Ensure critical and high priority <span class="acronym-highlight">CII</span>’s are delivered per <span class="acronym-highlight">SLA</span> </p>

<p data-renderer-start-pos="4399">· Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical or business field </p>
<p data-renderer-start-pos="4513">· 8+ years of professional software development experience</p>

<p data-renderer-start-pos="4652">· Expert coding and design skills in Angular.</p>
