Come join us.</p></div><p>The Sales Strategy &amp; Operations Analyst will be part of Fastly’s Global Sales Operations team, providing Tier 1 Sales Operations support for International Sales teams in EMEA and JAPAC. They will partner closely with the Tier 1 Sales Operations lead and EMEA and JAPAC Field operations team, as well as multiple stakeholders across Channel and SE operations, Marketing operations, and IT Business Systems teams.</p> <p>This role will be an entry-level Sales Operations role, and will report into the Sr. Manager, Global Sales Strategy &amp; Operations, based out of our India office. This role will also matrix into the Tier 1 Sales Operations lead based out of our Denver office.</p> <p>The perfect candidate for this role is a self-starter, curious, and willing to learn new things quickly. They will have a basic understanding of Sales as a business function, with a minimum 3 years experience either in Sales/SDR/BDR/AM roles or at least 1 year supporting Sales teams in sales operations or other support roles, with a high-tech or SaaS based companies. They will have basic level knowledge of Salesforce CRM, as well as other key sales tools supporting Prospecting, Account and Opportunity Management.</p> <p>They will also have a foundation in analytical and problem solving skills, able to compile basic data analysis using Excel or Google Sheets. Finally, they will have a sense of urgency in responding to Sales inquiries, to deliver a positive Sales support experience.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>What You'll Do:</strong></p> <ul> <li> <p>Support the Tier 1 Sales Operations lead in setting the foundation for an optimized Tier 1 support model, with a focus on EMEA and JAPAC sales team support. They will do this through process documentation, managing and responding to sales inquiries within defined SLAs, and triaging and escalating to Tier 2 support level teams (Field, Channel and SE operations) as needed.&nbsp;</p> </li> <li> <p>Responsible for managing defined Tier 1 scope related sales inquiries from the EMEA and JAPAC teams. For any other inquiries, they will escalate to the appropriate Tier 2 support teams (Field, Channel and SE operations teams).</p> </li> <li> <p>May assist EMEA and JAPAC sales operations teams with basic sales operations tasks including data hygiene tasks, account and lead routing validation, and basic reporting in SFDC.</p> </li> <li> <p>May assist with new hire onboarding for Salesforce CRM and Sales tools, partnering with the Tier 1 Sales Operations Support lead and Sales Enablement teams.</p> </li> </ul> <p><strong>What We're Looking For:&nbsp;</strong></p> <ul> <li> <p>1-2+ years of combined sales, SDR, or sales operations experience, ideally at a high-tech or SaaS based company.</p> </li> <li> <p>Working knowledge of Salesforce, and other sales tools including ZoomInfo, Outreach.</p> </li> <li> <p>Basic reporting skills in Salesforce and other tools, as well as basic Excel or Google sheets skills to compile simple business analysis.&nbsp;</p> </li> <li> <p>Strong communication skills and willingness to learn new things quickly.</p> </li> </ul> <p>We’ll be super impressed if you have experience in any of these:&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li> <p>Knowledge of other sales tools including 6Sense, Clari, and dashboards (Looker, Tableau or PowerBI)</p> </li> <li> <p>Prior Tier 1 support experience in either sales operations or similar support roles.</p> </li> <li> <p>Experience building and using agentic-prompts to automate GTM and support workflows</p> </li> </ul> <p><strong>Work Hours:</strong>&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li> <p>This position will require you to work during scheduled hours from 2 pm - 11 pm (IST)</p> </li> <li> <p>Due to the regional scope of this EMEA and APJ Tier 1 sales support function, core business hours may occasionally extend to EMEA and APJ friendly time-zones to support regional coverage schedules as needed.</p> </li> </ul> <p><strong>Work Location(s) &amp; Travel Requirements:&nbsp;</strong></p> <p>This position is based out of our Pune, India office.</p> <p>This position does not require travel, unless specified by your manager.</p> <p></p> <p><strong>Benefits:&nbsp;</strong></p> <p>We care about you.
