Position Overview

Want to be part of the Latin America family? Want to join the company ranked #1 by Gartner for the second consecutive year? If you enjoy teamwork and want to be part of an innovative company, come join Vectra AI!

As a key member of the Vectra AI pre-sales team for Latin America, you will work closely with your sales counterparts, prospects, partners, and Vectra AI customers across the region. You will be the primary technical expert for all pre-sales activities with our partners and customers, guiding them throughout the entire sales process all the way to closing the deal (and who doesn’t love closing a deal?!).

And because we highly value our customers and partners, you may also collaborate with them periodically after the deal is closed, continuing to add value and strengthen those relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical account management throughout the pre-sales process, working closely with Regional Sales Managers.
  • Lead customers and partners through demonstrations and problem-solving in a clear and concise manner, acting as the subject matter expert on all things Vectra AI.
  • Train our strategic partners across the region in both Portuguese and Spanish.
  • Monitor the market and maintain up-to-date knowledge of Vectra AI’s key competitors.
  • Communicate continuously across different areas of the company, ensuring that all key stakeholders are aligned on product capabilities and requirements identified in the field.
  • Partner with Product Management and R&D teams to help develop capabilities and features critical to Vectra AI’s success in Latin America and globally.
  • Develop and maintain in-depth technical knowledge of the Vectra AI product portfolio.
  • Identify new opportunities by building and developing strong technical relationships with customers and channel partners.
  • Deliver presentations at industry events and conferences, as well as webinars.
  • Maintain a high level of technical knowledge of the current cybersecurity landscape.
  • Collaborate with customers on technology reviews, product findings and results, and integrations with other technologies within their environments.
  • Collaborate with other Vectra AI engineers on strategic and complex projects to successfully deliver Vectra AI technologies to our customers.
  • Participate in deployment review and forecast calls.
  • Participate in design reviews and release meetings.
  • Travel throughout the region as required. This role requires approximately 70–80% travel.

Experience and Soft Skills

  • Startup DNA is essential: willingness and ability to do “whatever it takes,” with a strong drive to find solutions rather than simply admire the challenge.
  • A customer-first mindset is a must: the customer should always come first.
  • Extensive experience in technical or pre-sales roles as a Security Engineer or Sales Engineer.
  • Experience managing and working with large enterprise accounts is required.
  • Excellent professional fluency in Portuguese, Spanish, and English is required.
  • Preference will be given to candidates based in São Paulo, Brazil.

Technical qualifications

  • Deep understanding of security-focused product lines (CASB, EDR, SIEM or forensics-type platforms) with the ability to translate into security best practices.
  • Strong knowledge in networking and ability to understand L3 to L7 OSI layers.
  • String written (RFP) and verbal communications (Pre-sales presentations and conferences) are a must.
  • Good understanding of an attacker progression (Red Team or Pentest).
  • Good understanding of Incident Response (Blue Team) methodologies.
  • Good understanding of Cloud Security.
  • Good understanding of Security Processes and methodologies (CISSP/...) is a plus.

Vectra provides a comprehensive total rewards package that supports the financial, physical, mental and overall health of our employees and their families. Compensation includes competitive base pay, incentive plan eligibility, and participation in the employee equity plan (stock options). Specific benefits offered varies by location, but commonly include health care insurance, income protection / life insurance, access to retirement savings plans, behavioral & emotional wellness services, generous time away from work, and a comprehensive employee recognition program.

Vectra is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.

We are committed to equal employment opportunity regardless of race, color, ancestry, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, age, citizenship, marital status, disability, gender identity or Veteran status.
