Software Dev Senior Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain SonicWall’s backend and cloud-based products
• Strong sense of ownership of production software
• Willingness to work in cross-functional teams in a highly collaborative, cross-time-zone work environment

Requirements:

• Solid computer science fundamentals in areas such as data structures and algorithms
• Strong programming experience in Java, servlets, and related technologies
• Experience in database programming
• Experience working on cloud-based products
• Experience working on high transaction volume production systems is a plus
• Hands-on experience in using AI-based coding tools, such as Claude Code for development and problem solving
• Experience working on Linux systems, with exposure to shell programming
• Strong sense of product ownership, analytical skills, and attention to detail

Education and Experience:

• At least 7 years of related experience with a bachelor’s degree, or 5 years with a master’s degree
• Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
