The Information Security Platform Engineer will design, develop, and support KnowBe4’s information security operations both in the cloud and on premise. The individual in this role will be responsible for developing and managing systems,   applications, alerts, scripts, reports, and dashboard that enable and automate key information security functions.

Responsibilities:

• Assess information security processes and design more efficient methods using custom applications, scripts, automations and AI.
• Construct scaffolding and tools to enhance infosec developer experience.
• Manage and improve upon our infosec codebase and CI/CD.
• Develop AWS/IaaS solutions to enable infosec operations.
• Research and implement novel solutions across KnowBe4 to solve infosec related problems.
• Design and build solutions to fill security or compliance gaps
• Draftevelopment and maintain information security policies, procedures & baselines, SOP’s, diagrams, workflows, etc.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in relevant field or experience in software development/scripting in the information security space
• Minimum 2+ years relevant experience
• Relevant information security certifications preferred
• Understanding of IaaS sand how to use cloud solutions effectively and securely  
• Ability to write code in Python, Terraform, and Bash
• Experience with building and deploying custom applications
• Experience with AWS development and serverless stacks
• Experience with code repositories and source control 
• Experience with development using AI 
• Familiarity with SDLC and CI/CD concepts.
• Familiar with containers and servers
• Familiar with automated testing with pytest or similar
• Familiar with architecture design and writing documentation
• Knowledge of various operating systems(Linux/Mac/ChomeOS),
• Able to navigate the linux command line 
• Strong verbal and written communications
• Excellent time management and organization skills
• Excellent Analytical skills
