What You’ll Do
We're seeking a Senior Manager, Real Estate & Workplace to lead our global real estate portfolio and workplace operations function. You'll oversee our expanding office footprint (currently San Francisco, Chicago, and Amsterdam; opening Washington D.C., New York, London), manage 3 members of the team, and own strategic real estate decisions alongside day-to-day operations.
This is a leadership role that spans execution and strategy. You'll own budgeting, forecasting, lease negotiations, vendor management, and workplace standards while building systems that scale across geographies and cultures. You'll work closely with Finance, People Operations, IT, Security, and Executive Leadership to ensure our real estate portfolio aligns with our business strategy and supports a thriving hybrid workforce.
This role will be responsible for:
Portfolio & Strategic Planning
Owning the global real estate portfolio strategy and roadmap for 6 offices (and counting) across 4 time zones
Evaluating new market opportunities (D.C., NYC, London, Singapore) based on hiring plans, business drivers, and financial impact
Developing market entry business cases with financial models, risk analysis, and implementation timelines
Forecasting real estate costs, identify optimization opportunities, and manage budget discipline across the portfolio
Leading end-to-end office launches from market evaluation through post-launch stabilization (site selection, lease negotiation, buildout, vendor management, launch execution)
Leadership & Team Management
Hiring, developing, and mentoring 3 office managers across regional hubs
Setting standards and frameworks for office operations, employee experience, and vendor management
Driving budgets, operational metrics, and employee satisfaction
Fostering collaboration across office locations and support local decision-making authority
Providing strategic guidance on complex operational decisions and escalations
What You’ll Bring
8+ years of workplace management, real estate operations, or facilities leadership experience
Proven track record managing real estate portfolios across multiple locations or markets
Experience opening, scaling, or relocating office spaces in fast-growing tech or professional services companies
Deep expertise in lease negotiation, vendor management, budgeting, and financial forecasting
Bachelor's degree in business, real estate, facilities management, or related field
8+ years of workplace/real estate operations experience, including managing multiple team.
Proven experience leading multi-market office expansion or portfolio management

Travel Required
This role requires approximately 15-20% travel for office launches, site visits, and management meetings across Chicago, Washington D.C., New York, London, and future offices. Travel is primarily project-driven and planned in advance.

In accordance with various State’s transparency regulations, we provide the following salary range information for this position:
Base salary range: $180,000 - $220,000 annually. The exact salary will be determined based on the selected candidate's location, qualifications, experience, and relevant skills.
Additional compensation: All full-time roles are eligible for an equity package in the form of stock options.
