As a Sales Coordinator to act as the first line of support for our Japanese partners. This is a vital operational role that will bridge the gap between our local Japanese business needs and our global team. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, proactive, and proficient in both Japanese and English, capable of managing day-to-day administrative and logistical tasks to ensure our partners receive prompt and localized support. This is a one year fixed term contract.

What will you do?

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Partner Inquiries Desk: Serve as the primary point of contact and general inquiries desk for our Japanese partners, ensuring timely and accurate communication.
  • Marketing Operations: Manage the end-to-end logistics for marketing giveaways and novelty items, including inventory verification, partner coordination, and shipping execution.
  • Sales Operations: Assist with core sales operational tasks, including processing initial quote requests, Dealer Registrations (DRs), and Purchase Orders (POs).
  • Operational Support: Bridge the gap between local Japanese requirements and our core APJ/Global teams, ensuring that language or logistical barriers do not impact partner satisfaction.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and streamline operational bottlenecks to ensure our technical teams and leadership can remain focused on high-value business growth and deal consulting.

What Skills and Knowledge Will You Bring?

Ideal candidates will have:

  • Language Proficiency: Native or near-native proficiency in Japanese (verbal and written) and business-level English to facilitate effective communication with global teams and local partners.
  • Operational Experience: Experience in sales operations, order management, or administrative coordination within a sales environment.
  • Attention to Detail: Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and logistical workflows.
  • Service-Oriented: A customer-service attitude with a proactive approach to problem-solving and partnership management.
  • Tool Proficiency: Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and MS Office/Google Workspace suite is preferred.
  • Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and understand the urgency of supporting field-based technical resources.
